I was given this teakettle as a gift and couldn't have been happier with the choice. The teakettle looks beautiful on my stove where it stays out all day. My kettle has a green handle, knob and water spout cap. The 2.5 quart capacity is good - makes plenty of tea to fill my iced tea pitcher.
My main concern was finding a good whistler (no one whistles at me anymore) since I had a habit of letting pots go dry. While this is no "wolf whistle", it is a loud enough and scary roaring sound (volcanic?) to rouse me from my computer chair.
It's so easy to clean....just a gentle rinse and wipe.
NO burned knuckles or fingers either. The handle, knob, water cap all stay cool enough to handle. You do need 2 hands to pull off the lid, which is tight, but that's good. Everything is just right about this teapot. My friend scored big with this gift!
