I have the Pistoulet set of dishes and decided to add this to the collection. It came and I was so delighted with the size and style. It makes a wonderful server for iced tea, punch or plain spring water. It will go with just about any glass set for just a time for drinking or with the dinnerset at the dinner table. I would reccommend this item to compliment your set or even used alone with colorful goblets or glasses.

Pfaltzgraff has created a beautiful collection of dinnerware, serveware and accessories based on the book, The Secrets of Pistoulet by Jana Kolpen. Each piece is brightly decorated with freely rendered flowers, vines and vegetables drawn from or influenced by the book's illustrations, also by Ms. Kolpen. Bright, colorful drawings are set against wide watercolor washes that evoke the light and colors of Southern France. Be transformed by the magic of Pistoulet. Hand painted, the pitcher combines cornflower blue, maize yellow, bright lemon, and grassy green. A delicate grapevine encircles the body. The handle is large and comfortable, and the thick lip tapers to a spout. Crafted from durable stoneware, the pitcher is safe for the dishwasher, freezer, oven, and microwave. Coordinating Pistoulet juice glasses and mugs are also available. With a 90-ounce capacity, the pitcher stands 10 inches high and measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter at the mouth.
