I am really glad that I ordered these bowls. They have become our favorite all purpose dishes in the house. The size and shape of the bowl make it a perfect choice for a bowl of pasta or chili or soup. We tend to reach for this shallow bowl instead of a dinner plate when eating a casual dinner in front of the TV. It's a very comfortable shape to have in your lap.

Measuring 10-1/4 inches in diameter and standing 1-3/4 inches high, this pasta dish is the perfect size for serving a pasta course, an entrée, or a big salad. Also called the Potage of Patience, a hand drawn clock adorns the serving area of the bowl, reminding us to savor each moment. A pale yellow wash trims the edge of the dish, while a geometric pattern encircles the inner edge.
