Rio introduces a whole new way to look at stripes. Relaxed blue stripes take turns shifting positions and changing from wide to lean while continually maintaining their order on this exuberant dinnerware. For added interest, the stripes are reinterpreted in differing locations on each piece for a never-dull, often unexpected look.Light blue and periwinkle take turns both inside and out of this fun Rio-patterned stoneware vegetable/serving bowl. Some stripes are razor thin; one is fat; one is somewhere in between. This shallow medium-size bowl measures 8-1/2 inches across and 2-1/4 inches high. It easily lends itself to being dressed up or down, depending on the occasion, and works equally as well for tossed salad as it does for fettuccine Alfredo.
