We received this flatware as a wedding present 9 years ago. I am hear to shout off the rooftops that my flatware, after daily use and abuse, still looks brand new. No kidding!! To any bride to be - definitely stress high quality stainless steel flatware like the Satin Providence 18/8. You will be thrilled with its look and performance in years to come. My only regret is that I will now have to search for replacement pieces that were left in a dishwasher 2 homes back!
